International Commission
Now that you have read about the International Area of Opportunity, and have been told to use your imagination, here are a few ideas to spark your creative nature.
International Game Nights-
Modify your favorite TV Game Shows to fit the International theme. Ask questions based off of different cultures or geography. Adapt shows like Family Feud, Weakest Link, Price Is Right, etc…
International Road Rally-
Take this project and modify it to fit into International. At each location have them research a topic based off of another country. Have quiz questions along the way. Send them to different restaurants based off of cuisine of different cultures!
Mock Vacations-
Have one person do a presentation at your GMM. Give them a country and have them write up a mock vacation presentation. Tell about places they “visited” and what they learned while they were on their “trip”.
Holiday Traditions-
All through out the year, different cultures celebrate different holidays. You could have a night to have members research and share on a holiday. They would provide a dish and display items used in celebrating the holiday. This also could be a year long project with the holidays celebrated as they occur in the year.

Foreign exchange students
Festivals celebrate in or around your community
Attending culture awareness events at local colleges
Twinning with another chapter around the world
Visiting another country
East African Center
The international Area of Opportunity has lots of possibilities, you are only limited by your imagination. Get together with your chapter members and find out what other cultures they would like to know about. Take your programs into schools and educate the youth in the community. Keep it fun!
